This brand was born out of the dream of creating something that connects people, brings joy, and stands for something meaningful. Chokhat wasn’t something I planned meticulously—it quietly grew in the background of my life, fueled by my love for homes and the stories they tell. I believe that every home has its soul, and the things we put into it—the colors, the furniture, the décor—shape its personality.
Why Animals

Animals and nature are at the heart of Chokhat. For me, they bring about a sense of calm and freedom that grows more and more important each day. Our lifestyles have left many of us, particularly the younger generation, feeling cooped up and disconnected from the outside world. I wanted Chokhat to bring some of that lost connection back into our lives. Animal-inspired designs bring a playful, serene energy into our homes—a little reminder of the wild, beautiful world that exists beyond our four walls. Whether it’s a quirky elephant lamp, a bird-themed cushion, or nature-inspired wall art, each design carries the essence of nature’s peace and joy.
Why The Name Chokhat?

For me, “Chokhat” isn’t just a name—it’s the starting point of every home. The doorway, the threshold where your story begins. It felt so fitting for a brand that’s all about making homes more special. Naming Chokhat was deeply personal. I had a list of names I’d been collecting for years, and when the time came, I asked my family and friends to vote on their favorite. On Ganesh Chaturthi, we decided on Chokhat—a name that’s as meaningful to me as the dream behind it.
Where We Are Today

My dream is to see Chokhat become a household name—a go-to for home décor, gifts, and someday even furniture. We have a long road ahead, but with your trust and support, I know we’ll get there.
